During the 40th edition of MCE, held in March in Milan, Eneren presented its two new products: the CDH and the EKW. Respectively, these are a water-to-water heat pump with R744 (CO2) refrigerant, and a water-to-water heat pump that can exploit medium temperature sources (20-40°C).
The CDH is an heating-only heat pump, which can be combined to any source of water: a geothermal system, groundwater wells, surface water bodies, etc. On the user side, it can produce hot water up to 80°C, obtaining very high efficiencies especially in case of cold inlet water.
The EKW is also an heating-only heat pump, which can be combined to any source of water. However, the compressors are optimized for high evaporation temperatures and high condensation temperatures. A source ranging from 20 to 40°C efficiently allows a production of 80°C on the user-side.
